Invited Talk at ARCS Symposium

September 2026: Leah travelled to Birmingham to speak at the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists Symposium. She made the case that, whilst all ARCS members will likely be working in licensed clinics, the project’s finding are highly relevant to their work. Leah highlighted the growing numbers of people using informal donor conception, how routes into IDC are shaped by perceptions and possibilites for clinical routes, and the overlap between clinical and non-clinical donor conception populations. This led to lots of really useful and thoughtful discusssions throughout the day. And it was interesting to hear, from a clinical perspective, if and how IDC comes up in their work.
Look out for a forthcoming article in The Reproductive Scientist which is based on the talk.
